AN appeal has been lodged after planning chiefs rejected a proposal to enlarge a Hampshire house.
An application for a first-floor extension to a property in West Hayes, Lymington, was refused by New Forest District Council, which said it would harm the building’s character and appearance.
A government-appointed planning inspector will decide if the council's decision should be quashed.
