POLICE are appealing for help in finding a "very upset" missing man who could be in Hampshire.
Mark Nightingale, 47, of Bournemouth, was last seen in the Canford Cliffs area on Wednesday but is thought to have travelled to Winchester.
Chief Inspector Jim Beashel, of Dorset police, said: “We understand Mark has been very upset recently and are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“We have been carrying out various enquiries to locate him since the report and are now appealing to anyone who has information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching his description, to contact police immediately.
“I would also like to make a direct plea to Mark to contact us as we want to ensure you are safe and well.”
He is described as white, 5ft 9in with short blond hair. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black jeans and brown shoes. He often wears sunglasses.
Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset police on 101, quoting occurrence number 11:191.
