DRESSED in their best black tie attire, hundreds attended the Daily Echo’s annual property ball at the Grand Harbour Hotel.

This year the Hollywood glamour themed evening was in aid of raising money for The Society of St James, a homeless charity based in Southampton.

A wide variety of activities took place throughout the night including a sit down meal, raffle, photo booth and a DJ.

An auction including eight prizes was also held to help raise as much money as possible.

A velodrome experience with a GB gold medalist was auctioned off for £1,100.

Victoria Mant, the vice chair of Southampton Property Association said that the evening “definitely raised” more than £6,000.

Last year’s event raised a total of £6,400.
