POLICE have launched an appeal after electrical items and watches were stolen in a raid on a Hampshire home.

The burglary is said to have taken place on Friday, October 12, at a home in Winchester Hill, Romsey.

It is believed the offenders gained entry to the property some time between 12.30pm and 7pm.

The burglars entered through the back door and once inside searched all rooms.

They made off with various electrical items and a number of men’s watches.

PC William Nye, from Hampshire Police, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident to come forward.

"Did you see anyone acting suspiciously in the Winchester Hill area yesterday afternoon or evening?

"Did they appear to be looking into houses, wandering up driveways or loitering around?

"I would urge anyone with information to get in touch.”
