RAIL passengers whose trains were cancelled this morning are being reminded to get their tickets refunded.
Bosses at South Western Railway say passengers are entitled to compensation if they could not make their journey.
It comes after a major fault with Network Rail's signalling systems between Woking and Surbiton meant trains were unable to run to Waterloo.
Delays are expected to last until 4pm today.
ℹ️ If you had single/ return tickets and were not able to travel, you are eligible for a full refund from the retailer of your tickets. Please contact your retailer.

South Western Railway's advice on how to claim compensation
Create an account (personal details and payment preferences are stored securely) and provide the details of the journey you planned to make.
You will then be shown a number of journey options.
Select “My train is not shown above”, which is the last option on the list.
A free text field will then display where you should state “advised not to travel” - It’s important you do this before completing all other details and submitting your claim form.
If you follow these instructions, our processing team will be able to identify your submission for processing – otherwise your claim may be incorrectly rejected.
Alternatively, paper forms are available at any of our staffed stations.
The process is almost identical - you should use the free text box to identify yourself as “advised not to travel”.
ℹ️ If you are delayed by 15 mins or more at your destination, you are entitled to compensation under Delay Repay. Please see here more details and to file your claim online https://t.co/u9dx5QOZDs
