HEAR, hear, Paddy Sketcher, I agree with you - our justice system defies description.
First we read that Barry Shaw, the convicted paedophile, has escaped a prison sentence because it would jeopardise his place and accommodation at Southampton University.
Then we’re told that Anjem Choudary, the dangerous hate preacher who has radicalised many, has been released from prison after serving just two years of his five and a half years sentence.
Apparently it will cost the taxpayer in excess of £2m a year to keep him under surveillance at a hostel.
Who makes these scandalous decisions and what planet is the judge on, especially when you consider it took over a year at great expense to get him convicted?
