UNANIMOUS approval has been given to a plan to allow a house to be used for dog breeding.
The applicant requested the permission for the house on Parsonage Lane, in Durley, near Bishop’s Waltham.
Durley Parish Council objected saying it was an unsuitable location in a residential area.
The council in a letter said: “The car park is unsuitable in this location as it would lead onto a dangerous section of road, which is highlighted by the owner as he needs a mirror opposite his property to see what is coming along Parsonage Lane. Also, this section of road regularly floods outside of his property.”
There were four letters of objection complaining about potential noise from dogs and additional traffic.
The highway engineer originally objected but work has been done to remove tall vegetation to improve the visibility.
