A FIRE has broken out near a Southampton industrial estate.
The blaze in the Nursling area is sending plumes of smoke into the air this afternoon.
Crews from Eastleigh and St Mary's stations are dealing with the fire, which reportedly broke out in Station Road.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the incident and confirmed that smoke can be seen from the M27.
Traffic tailbacks are building up on both the eastbound and westbound carriages of the motorway near junction 3.
