A NEW development is set to be named in honour of its creator who passed away suddenly last year.

Churchill Retirement Living's new development in Park Gate will be called Beck Lodge, in memory of senior architectural technician Billy Beck.

James Barnes, regional managing director of Churchill Retirement Living, said it was a "fitting tribute" to name the development in the late developers name.

He added: "Billy was a popular and highly respected member of our team, who lived in Langton Matravers near Swanage and worked at Churchill’s Ringwood office for three years.

"We felt it would be a fitting tribute to Billy and his family to name our new Park Gate development in his memory, and hope it will stand as a lasting testament to a dear Colleague who we miss very much.

"We’re proud to see Beck Lodge nearing completion, and excited to see it already sparking a great deal of interest from local over 60s keen to find out more about the benefits of retirement living."

When complete, the apartments at Beck Lodge will boast elegant rooms throughout, considerately designed with the over 60s in mind.

The fully fitted, stylish kitchens will include a built in fridge and freezer, hob and an oven, located at an easy-reach height. All of the properties will benefit from easy-turn lever taps in both the kitchen and bathroom and illuminated light switches for added convenience.

Owners will also enjoy ultimate peace of mind from a fitted camera entry system for the highest level of security and a 24 hour emergency call system.
