IT was the Southampton venue that, although short lived, had a wealth of celebrities pass through their doors.
Radio Cafe opened in Southampton on November 3, 1998, when throngs of music lovers gathered to help them celebrate the big occasion.
Among the acts to wow the crowds were East 17, Five, Honeyz and Solid Harmonie. Power FM DJs were also on hand to keep the party going by banging out the latest chart tracks.
The venue was situated in West Quay Retail Park and aimed to provide customers with hunger-busting dishes while the DJ furnished them with chart-busting music and celebrity pop gossip.
Radio Cafe shut their doors for the last time in 2000.
