THOUSANDS gathered to pay their respects to those who lost their lives in two world wars and in conflicts since across Hampshire.
It was the 100th anniversary of the ending of First World War and ceremonies across Southampton, Romsey and Winchester were held to mark the occasion.
The country stood for two minutes silence at 11am.
