A MAJOR Hampshire road was closed in both directions this morning following a crash.
Traffic bosses say the A34 was closed both ways between the A272 near Littleton and the A303 near Sutton Scotney around 6am today.
According to Highways England, the road was shut due to a "complex" recovery of a heavy goods vehicle.

The road has since reopened in both directions.
On Twitter, Highways England said: "The A34 has reopened in both directions between the A272 near Littleton and A303 near SuttonScotney with recovery complete.
"Thank you for your patience this morning."
