WHILE in the B&Q store at Nursling on Remembrance Sunday with my husband and young daughter, we were anticipating an announcement for the two-minutes' silence to stop and remember the soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom.
We were astonished that everything just carried on as usual.
I've never been anywhere in the past where this has happened.
Mrs G Brown
EDITOR'S NOTE: The Echo has been contacted my a member of staff from the store, who said that a two-minute silence was observed.
