A SOUTHAMPTON man who allowed someone to use a vehicle without insurance has been fined by a court.
Lakhwinder Singh, 42, of Argyle Road, St Mary's, permitted Rajdir Singh to use a 53-reg Ford on the A33 Redbridge Road on February 25 when no insurance was in force.
Singh was not present at Basingstoke Magistrates Court and the case was proved in his absence.
He was fined £160 with a £30 victim surcharge, £620 costs and six penalty points put on his driving licence.
