A HAMPSHIRE charity has stacked up a host of famous faces for its annual Christmas concert.

Martin Clunes will host the Breast Cancer Haven Wessex carol concert on December 10 – and he will be joined by actors Clive Mantle and Tom Goodham-Hill.

Clunes, best known for his roles as Doc Martin Ellingham in Doc Martin and Gary Strang in Men Behaving Badly, will lead the readings at the Titchfield event, which takes place at St Peter’s Church.

There will be performances by local musicians and operatic trio Tre Amici, stars of the current X Factor series.

Sally Taylor, BBC South Today news presenter and chair of the Breast Cancer Haven development board, said: “Once again, we are hugely grateful to our high profile friends and celebrities for their incredible support of Breast Cancer Haven.

“Now in its sixth year, our concert is always a spectacular highlight in the run-up to Christmas and is an important fundraising event for the charity.”

Tom Goodman-Hill is best known for his roles in Mr Selfridge, Everest and Humans.

Breast Cancer Haven is a national charity that provides specialist and individual treatment and support for more than 3,000 people affected by breast cancer.

It is a non-medical environment run by professionally trained breast cancer nurses and specialist therapists who will tailor a series of treatments to complement someone’s conventional treatment programme.

It costs £1,000 to treat each visitor.
