SOUTHAMPTON has some amazingly kind people.
My grandson had a terrible accident on Wednesday and bit the inside of his cheek nearly all the way through.
Thanks to the lady who gave up her turn at the GP surgery, the wonderful lady who came across my distraught daughter on her way to hospital with a totally unresponsive child in her arms. This lady gave her bicycle to two helpful men who took it to their workplace while she accompanied my daughter and grandson to hospital.
Also thanks to the lovely gentleman who let the baby play with his iPad while they were waiting to be admitted to the children's ward.
Finally, and not least, to the consultant facial plastic surgeon who operated and put his mouth back together.
Of course there were many nurses and other hospital staff who as always did an absolutely amazing job.
Thank you.
