Attempted murder charge after stabbing at Wimpy restaurant
A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing at a Hampshire restaurant.
It comes after an incident in the Wimpy Restaurant on Hayling Island on Saturday.
A 21-year-old woman suffered stab wounds and was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital.
Her injuries are not life-threatening.
Hampshire Police have now charged Harry Middleton, 20, of Chidham Close, Havant, with an allegation of attempted murder.
He is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court today.
