A VEGAN food festival is set to take place in Fareham in the run up to Christmas.
The event will take place on December 8 at Fareham leisure centre from 10am until 4pm.
Event organisers Amanda Barnes, from Mug Shot Coffee Shop community project and Paul Ruston Bluetouch Live, a company who promote leisure events wanted to create a Vegan event that would be appeal to the local community.
Amanda commented: “We decided that holding the event at the beginning of December would give people the opportunity to browse for gifts.
"More and more people are looking for vegan products and to have an array of stalls from food to cosmetics in one place is brilliant.
“If you are a vegan fan, you will find a huge choice of stands and stalls including free samples, chocolates, cakes, delicious snacks, freshly baked pies, cheeses, beverages, sweets, beauty products for men and women, clothing and loads more.”
Paul Ruston of Bluetouch Live added: “This event will be buzzing. It was refreshing to get the feedback from the last event with so many people saying how great it was. We are expecting high numbers returning and hope that people find the perfect gifts for Christmas.”
Amanda concluded: “You don’t have to be vegan to come along and if you’re just intrigued about the vegan way of life. It’s about healthy living and being aware of what you’re eating and trying something different.
"It will surprise you how tasty they can be.”
