DRIVERS faced delays of over an hour this afternoon due to a vehicle fire on the M3.
Two lanes were closed southbound shortly before midday due to the incident between junctions nine (for Winnall) and 11 (for Winchester).
Delays of 90 minutes were being reported on the motorway, but the incident was cleared around two hours later and both lanes are now open.
