A CAT which was thrown from a moving car is among pets to feature on a special clothing collection created by a fashion retailer.

Prince, who was rehomed in Southampton, is among a number of cats and dogs to feature on the Oasis range this Christmas, available to buy in Oasis stores and online.

The collection of knits, blouses and dresses was inspired by dogs and cats helped or treated by Blue Cross at its animal hospitals and rehoming centres across the country.

The items sold will help raise money for the animal charity.

Prince’s owner, Paulina Wozniak, who lives in Southampton, said: “Prince is now called Felix.

“He’s so cheeky and so very spoilt, we love him so much. I’m so excited to hear he’s part of the collection.”

Prince was just three months old when he was rushed into Blue Cross’s animal hospital in Victoria, London, having been thrown from a moving car in Brixton in the city.

He was found a loving new home by the team at the charity’s rehoming centre in Southampton once he was well enough to be moved.

Briony Garbett, customer director at Oasis, said: “Like much of the nation, Blue Cross touched our hearts with their campaign last Christmas highlighting how pets change our lives.

“Knowing that our customers, many of whom are pet parents themselves, love a fun print and a characterful jumper we felt this was a perfect partnership and something we could really have fun creating.

“We are really excited about the range and incredibly proud to be supporting such an amazing cause.”

Also featuring in the collection is William the Dachshund who was rehomed by the Blue Cross team on Bubb Lane in West End with his partner Maisie after the death of their owner.

Grace Marrs, William’s owner, said: “I love the collection. It’s a fantastic way to raise awareness for Blue Cross.

“William wants to know, does the hat come in his size?”
