A HUNT has been launched after a patient went missing from Southampton General Hospital.
Police have issued an appeal for help in trying to find Darren Warner.
The 47-year-old went missing from Southampton General Hospital last night (Monday 3 Dec).
He was last seen at 10pm but had not been deemed well-enough to be discharged.
As such, doctors and his family are incredibly worried about him, said a spokesman for Hampshire Police.
Darren, who is from Sholing, Southampton, is known to frequent The Common, added police.
He is described as: White, 5ft in tall, with dark hair, short on sides, and slightly curly on top. He also has a dark beard
When he was last seen Darren was wearing black trainers, grey jeans, a grey hoodie with an orange logo and a black jacket over the top.
Darren left the hospital with a cannula in his arm.
The police spokesman added: "We are carrying out extensive enquiries to locate Darren, have you seen him?
"Any sightings or knowledge of his whereabouts, please call 101 immediately and quote 44180451966."
