PUPILS from Hook-with-Warsash C of E Academy kicked off the festive season with three performances of Disney's Aladdin JR. the Musical at Ferneham Hall in Fareham.

Disney’s Aladdin JR. is based on the 1992 Academy-Award®-winning film and the 2014 hit Broadway show about the "diamond in the rough" boy who learns that his true worth lies deep within.

Year six were supported in their performances by pupils from years three, four and five who made up a choir.

They were also joined on stage by pupils from years one and two who formed part of the Prince's entourage and performed some beautiful dancing.

Headteacher Sara Willoughby said: "All children from years one to six are invited to take part in the show and they loved learning all the songs and actions.

"We were overwhelmed by support from staff and parents who gave up their time to make sure that the show was a such a great success."
