A MAN has been found dead near a Southampton pub.
Police say they were called to St Mary Street this morning after reports that a man had died.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "Police were called by the ambulance Service at 6.32am this morning to a report of a sudden death.
"A man in his 40s was found near the Kingsland Tavern in St Mary's Road, Southampton.
"Officers attended the scene and the death has been deemed non-suspicious. It will now be referred to the Coroner."
