Mims Davies donates to a foodbank at Tesco.
I’M APPALLED, though not entirely surprised, to see Mims Davies joining the latest Tory PR photo op doing the rounds, highlighting the greatness of local food banks.
Food banks do a fantastic job, no question, but the very fact that they are in such great demand, as a direct result of punitive Conservative welfare reforms, is sickening.
Turning up at the supermarket a couple of times a year just doesn’t cut it. If she really wanted to help those in need then she would do something to reverse the hideous policies that her government enforces.
