WHEN the Daily Echo photographer visited Ludlow School to take these pictures, they were celebrating a glowing report from independent inspectors.

The date was November 5, 1998, when 11 teachers taught 267 pupils at the Woolston school.

“The quality of teaching is a strength of the school and has a significant impact on the standards attained and the good progress made by the pupils,” read the report.
