COLDEN Common Shed Project has struck a new partnership with housebuilders.

Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties has made a £2,000 contribution to the Colden Common Shed Organisation.

It has enabled members to reach their £35,000 target to build new premises for people to come together and enjoy activities such as woodworking, while enabling social interaction. It will benefit both those who have been through difficult life situations, and those seeking new skills and friendships.

Roz Wells, marketing director for Taylor Wimpey, said: “This is a wonderful initiative. It does so much good to support so many and we’re only too happy to see it become the thriving project we’re sure it’ll be.”

Steve Badham, of Colden Common Shed, said: “On behalf of all our members, I’d like to extend out thanks to Taylor Wimpey Southern Counties for its kindness.”
