TWO people have been injured in a serious crash in Southampton.
The crash happened on St Francis Avenue, at the junction with West End Road, around 8pm last night (Sunday).
Police say a Nissan Note and a Kia Picanto were involved.
Officers say one person was reported to have suffered serious injuries - though paramedics say neither driver suffered serious injuries.
South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) said: "We received a 999 call at 20:04 yesterday with the caller reporting a two car collision at the above junction.
"We sent two ambulances to the scene.
"The two female drivers had not sustained serious injuries but both required additional treatment and assessment and were taken to University Hospital Southampton."
