THE festive season is definitively under way for some North Baddesley residents.
Dozens of members of the North Baddesley Over-60s Club took part in the annual Christmas dinner in the Village Hall, where the group meets every Monday from 2pm to 4pm.
Attendees were treated to a meal and live entertainment during what has become “the event they all look forward to”.
Sally Bell, group secretary, said: “They were all very excited about being here. It’s very important that we have this because some of them would not have a Christmas dinner at all if it wasn’t for this, and it’s very important that we get the funding.”
The initiative is funded by local councillors Alan and Celia Dowden.
