A MAN has been charged with arsons after cars were set alight in Southampton.
Alex Michael O’Reilly, 23, of no fixed abode, appeared before Southampton Magistrates Court today.
He was charged with arsons after three cars and a shed in Shirley were set on fire between December 1 and December 8.
As previously reported, the cars were parked on Braishfield Close, Timsbury Drive, and Locklery Crescent and were set alight in the evening of December 8 while a shed on Lockerley Crescent was set on fire on December 1.
O’Reilly was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on January 8, 2019.
