A SEARCH has been launched for a man who went missing from a mental health unit.
Qamran (Cameron) Mirza, 38, was on an escorted visit from the unit in Totton when he left his carers.
He was last seen at 12.40pm on Tuesday, near Debenhams in Canal Walk, Southampton.
Mr Qamram is described as being about 5ft 7ins tall, of medium build, and has short dark hair. When last seen, he was wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans, a black jacket and white trainers.
Inspector Nick Mills said: “We are extremely keen to hear from anyone who has seen this man or knows where he might be.
“Mr Qamran is due to take regular medication which he doesn’t have with him. He is also subject to a hospital order after being convicted of an indecent assault.
“If you know where he is or have any information which could help us locate him, please call us on 999.”
