WINCHESTER Auto Barn attracted over 300 petrolheads at its second Breakfast Club Meeting.

Visitors came from across the county to see the array of vehicles on display, including a 1967 Ferrari previously owned by Eric Clapton.

This was sitting alongside other classics including a Lamborghini Muira SV and a pair of concours Ford Escort Mexico’s.

MP Caroline Noakes visited the club as part of her efforts to support Small Business Saturday.

She commented: “I am always pleased to support new business ventures in the constituency, and it was great to be able to have a look round the Auto Barn on Small Business Saturday.

“There were certainly a lot of people there and the plans for the future look really exciting.”

Winchester Auto Barn, in Sutton Scotney, is a newly formed company that was created to provide a local hub for those with a passion for classic cars.

As well as hosting the Breakfast Club events, the garage offers on-site servicing, repairs and MOTs for both modern and classic vehicles.

Niall Holden, founder and creator of Winchester Auto Barn, said: “Our vision was to provide a space for people to come and show off their pride and joy, meet kindred spirits, source their next vehicle or just hang out and talk car.

“We were delighted that despite the awful weather, we had a great turnout and got to meet a lot of like-minded people.”

Niall intends to hold another Breakfast Club meeting in spring 2019 and establish these events as a firm fixture for the motoring enthusiasts’ calendar.
