THESE images show the action from the top-of-the-table clash between Romsey and New Milton in Hampshire 2.
All of the scoring came early on October 24, 1998, when Matt Tilt’s fine run ended up with a try for Romsey and Matt Charrett converted from wide-out.
Charrett then landed a penalty, and it was 12 minutes before New Milton replied. Matt Wale slotted a penalty in their first attack.
The score remained 10-3 for the rest of the game.
