EMERGENCY services were called to a fire at Westquay centre in Southampton.
A Hampshire Fire and Rescue spokesman told the Daily Echo that five crews are at the scene and were called at 11.17am.
Shoppers said the area was being evacuated and Portland Terrace is currently shut.
The fire was put out at about 12.50pm and Hampshire Fire and Rescue says

There were reports of smoke coming from a vent and a fire was discovered in an oven.
Crews from St Mary's, Cosham, Hightown and Eastleigh were called to the incident.
Buses and other vehicles are being forced to divert away from the area as a result of the road closure.
