TOTTON & Eling U10s football team will be donating gifts to the children’s ward at Southampton General Hospital on Sunday.

Back in October, the team took part in a fancy dress 3k inflatable obstacle course race, after playing a 60 minute match, to raise money.

They were joined by members of their family, and between them raised just over £1,000.

As well as the money going towards the children’s ward, it went towards new training equipment and winter clothing for the club.

The club manager, Daniel Le Feuvre, and his wife reached out to the ward manager to find out what items they needed.

This ranged from wheel chairs and toiletries, to DVDs and PlayStation games.
