RESIDENTS still have time to vote for Fareham’s citizen and young citizen award.

Fareham Borough Council runs the awards every year to honour and recognise residents who have made a difference to the lives of local people.

Nominations close on January 31.

There are two age categories: the young citizen of honour is for those under 18 years old and the citizen of honour award is for those who are over the age of 18.

The winners will receive invitations to the mayor making ceremony in May with two guests to receive their award badges, a reception with the new mayor to receive citizen of honour certificates, the mayor’s civic service and Remembrance Day Services, and and a family ticket for the gala performance of the pantomime held at Ferneham Hall.

Nominations are now open for the Citizen and Young Citizen of Honour Awards 2019. You can nominate by emailing publicity@fareham.gov.uk or calling 01329 824609.
