A SOUTHAMPTON theatre teamed up with youngsters from bereaved families to a Christmas treat.
The young people from Simon Says charity went to see hit show Billionaire Boy at Nuffield Southampton Theatre.
And the lucky youngsters were also able to meet the cast after the show.
Simon Says Chief Operations Officer Georgie Pinchon said: “Simon Says receive no government funding, so events like this really do make a positive difference. Both with raising much needed funds but also with raising awareness. We are so grateful for the support from the Nuffield Southampton Theatres.”
Billionaire Boy The Musical tells the comical story of Joe Spud, the wealthiest child in the land and his father Len, who has made his fortune from inventing a new loo roll “Bum Fresh - wet on one side, dry on the other.” Whilst Mr Spud spends, Joe wants to be ordinary, so he enrols at the local school where his new best friend, Bob, Joe navigates an assault course of school bullies and dangerously inedible canteen food.
