HUNDREDS of runners took to Southampton Common on Christmas morning for a festive sprint.
A total of 725 amateur athletes ran the course for ParkRun - a weekly jog, sprint or walk that's free for all to attend.
"We had a lovely assortment of Santas, Christmas trees, elves, presents and many more besides.
"A very big thank you to race director Gil and our brilliant group of volunteers who sang, cheered and played all the way."
There were 400 runners, walkers and joggers doing the rounds at River Park for Winchester's Christmas Day parkrun event.
