TWO teenagers were knocked out after being assaulted in the early hours of the morning in Southampton.
The two 18-year-old men were walking along West Quay Road in the direction of Harbour Parade at between 2.45am and 3.15am on Sunday, January 6.
They were both attacked and knocked unconscious. One of the men suffered a fractured jaw and the other had "extensive" bruising and swelling to his face.
A 25-year-old man from Salisbury has been arrested on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm, and a 28-year-old man from Bristol has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. Both have been released under investigation.
Detective Constable Marie Harding, said: “We’d like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident and anyone who may have photos or video footage on their mobile phones that could assist.
"People driving in the area at the time may have also captured footage on a dashcam."
