TRIBUTES have been paid to a pedestrian who died after being hit by a car in Southampton
Lucy Charlton, 26, of Warren Avenue, Southampton, was involved in a collision with a white Ford Fiesta on The Avenue in the early hours of last Saturday.
In a statement her family said: "Lucy will be deeply missed by all her friends and family.
“She lived life to the full and has been taken far too early from us. Sleep tight, love you forever.”
Police cordoned off the scene of the crash, which occurred near a bus stop outside buildings owned by Choice Financial Solutions and the charity Solent Mind.
The car was being driven by a man in his twenties.
Last night a police spokeswoman said officers were still investigating the exact circumstances surrounding the collision.
