MORE than 15,200 homes are without power after two faults on the network.
Residents in the West End area have been affected by damage at a substation which caused a high voltage network fault.
Engineers at SSE said were alerted to the fault in West End at 3.50pm this afternoon - but hoped to have it fixed by 5pm.
A spokesperson for the company said engineers are re-routing the power around the fault and investigating the cause.
Homes in Netley Common were also left in the dark after a separate fault left them without power.
Engineers inspecting the fault at 200 homes said it was "more complicated than they first realised" and expect power to be restored by 6pm.
