A POPULAR BBC One panel show will be filmed in Winchester later this month.

The broadcasting company is reaching out to residents to feature as an audience member.

Those who apply and succeed will be requested to come up with two questions to be considered for the programme.

The episode will be filmed on January 24 and successful applicants will receive a phone call to confirm the timing and whereabouts of filming.

It is to be chaired by Fiona Bruce, who recently took up the job following the departure of David Dimbleby.

Her first episode in the role was aired on Thursday (January 10) and received high praise online, with many taking to Twitter to post a positive reaction about the new host.

Comedian Sanjeev Kohli tweeted: "Fiona Bruce REALLY needs to bring this fire and sarcasm to the owners of antique forks. Outstanding performance."

Application forms to be part of the audience can be found online on the BBC website.
