FIREFIGHTERS have been tackling a major barn blaze over night.
The fire involving more than 1,000 bales of hay broke out at about 8pm last night.
Up to 20 firefighters and four pumps attended the scene of the blaze in Spurlings Road, Fareham, with one crew still there this morning.
A spokesperson from Hampshire police said: "We were called to th agricultural fire at 8:19pm.
"Crews from Fareham, Wickham. Cosham, Southsea and Havant attended.
"Watch crews stayed at the scene overnight.
"The fire is under control but we have not had a stop message."
No one is thought to have been injured in the incident which could be seen by motorists from the nearby M27.
