A MAN has been charged after two women reported late-night attacks in Southampton.
Dean Smith, 38, of Portswood Road, Southampton, is due to appear in court today after being charged with committing an offence with the intention of committing a sexual offence.
Police say that on Sunday, January 20, a 28-year-old woman was assaulted by a man on Wilton Avenue, Southampton, between 2.10am and 2.35am. She was not injured.
Later, between 2.35am and 2.45am, a 31-year-old woman was assaulted by a man on Hulse Road, and suffered injuries to her face.
Following these incidents Smith was arrested and charged.
