WINCHESTER Guildhall has a number of exciting events in the upcoming months, varying from music and dance, to comedy and cocktails.

Here is a list of what is to happen. All tickets can be purchased from the Guildhall website or by calling 01962 840820:

l January 27 - Bump and Boo

As small business owners, Bump and Boo are passionate about the variety and quality that buying locally from independent businesses can get.

They also know that as busy new parents or parents to be there is not always the time to shop around and as a default many of us end up buying from the big retailer.

And that is what they are looking to change.

The company will be holding a Pregnancy and Baby market - a one-stop shop for everything from car seats and prams to pregnancy yoga and baby classes.

With stalls to suit even the most modest of budgets, this unique opportunity will give local baby and pregnancy related businesses a chance to meet new parents face to face and convince them why buying local is buying best.

It will start at 10.30am and tickets cost £3, which will also be available on the door.

l February 1 - A Vision of Elvis

Starring Rob Kingsley, the winner of The National Tribute Music Awards, the "Official Elvis Show" and "No.1 Male Tribute" is internationally renowned as the best Elvis Presley tribute concert touring the world today.

Celebrating the show’s 10th Anniversary, A Vision of Elvis is an emotional rollercoaster through time, engaging audiences with a true concert experience featuring the legend's greatest hits.

The performance will start at 7.30pm and tickets cost £25.

l February 9 - Winchester Cocktail Week Finale, Studio 54

Join the celebrations for the only nightclub that really mattered - Studio 54.

The finale party of all parties ends Winchester Cocktail Week 2019 with the very best efforts to recreate this legendary club and era with artistic pop of late 1970’s Manhattan.

Dress is subjective, the celebrity guest-list is full, and glitter is essential.

This is one disco you will not want to miss.

Signature cocktails from Gorilla Spirits and discounted cocktails available for Winchester Cocktail Week wristband holders.

Canapes included in the ticket price of £20 from the Little Kitchen Company will be available.

Doors open at 9pm.

l February 22 - Tumble Tots

Tumble Tots is designed to develop children's physical skills of agility, balance, co-ordination and climbing, through the use of brightly coloured equipment.

The programme is structured to develop children's positive personality traits including confidence and self-esteem.

Each session of 45 minutes combines fun, excitement and challenge in a safe and caring environment.

Child psychologists and educators agree that a structured programme in movement should be a part of every child's education.

This February half term there will be three classes at the Winchester Guildhall.

A class for two to four year olds will start at 9.30am, a 'walking confidently' class will start at 10.30am, and a class for babies of six months will run at 11.30am.
