A DRINK-DRIVER caught twice in one month, once in which he was almost four times the limit, has has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Jason Stuart Moore, 48, was stopped in Sea Road Car Park, Milford-on-Sea, on December 14 last year and breathalysed by police.
When tested, Moore had 138 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – the legal limit being 35 microgrammes.
Just 10 days later, on Christmas Eve, Moore was caught again, this time at Cliff Road in Hordle.
On that occasion, he had 62 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath
Moore, of Pless Road, Milford-on-Sea, pleaded guilty to two counts of drink-driving.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court, Moore was given a 40 week prison sentence, which was suspended for 18 months.
He was ordered to complete 15 days of rehabilitation activity requirement, participate in an accredited drink impaired drivers programme for 33 days and complete 150 hours of unpaid work.
Moore was also disqualified from driving for 48 months and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £85.
