A DRIVER who broke the motorway speed limit in a van with a trailer has been fined.
Dean Mayze was driving at 75mph when he was caught speeding on the M27, between Nursling and Ower.
The speed limit for a vehicle carrying a trailer on a motorway is 60mph.
The 30-year-old, of Masefield Crescent, Waterlooville, pleaded guilty to speeding.
He was fined £40 during an appearance at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
Mayze was also given three points on his licence and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £40 in prosecution costs.
