SO 980 homes and a secondary school to be built on greenfield land owned by Hampshire County Council.
I am 65 years of age and in my lifetime I have seen so many greenfield sites given over to housing or commercial development. I cannot drive anywhere in this country now without seeing a building development of some sort.
Before long there will be no greenfield sites or countryside left.
A bit of an exaggeration, and I know that a small island such as ours is overfull and has a bursting population, but once the green land and countryside is gone it will never come back.
