A MAN twice caught carrying weapons in central Southampton is to be sentenced later this month.
Kenny Aaron McPherson, 36, was found to have a locking knife when he was searched at Southampton Central Police Station in November last year.
He was also found with a metal cosh, a type of baton, while in Above Bar Street on December 14.
McPherson, of no fixed abode, pleaded not guilty to possession of a bladed article and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was found guilty of both during a hearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court this month.
McPherson will be sentenced on February 26.
He has been remanded in custody until his next hearing.
