Traffic queues as work continues on the Millbrook Roundabout - Traffic on Millbrook Flyover.
I HAVE already sent two messages to Southampton council regarding the speed cameras on Redbridge Road and Millbrook Road. All that happens is drivers make sure they are doing 40mph when they pass the cameras but do 50 to 70 in between, so I have suggested average-speed cameras to stop this.
I didn’t get a reply.
Also, I think all vehicles on the road should be fitted with tachographs so any driver guilty of speeding before they are stopped by police should be reported retrospectively.
