ONE person was taken to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash which blocked a busy Hampshire road.
The accident on the A326 Marchwood Bypass involved a lorry and two cars - one of which ended up on its roof.
Two ambulances were sent to the scene - set of crossroads nesatr Marchwood Infant School.
South Central Ambulance Service said crews assessed two people, one of whom was taken to Southampton General Hospiral. Their injuries are not thought to be serious.
The crash, which occurred at the junction of the A326 and Twiggs Lane, caused long tailbacks in both directions.
A Hampshire police spokeswoman confirmed that officers were called to the junction just after 11am.
She confirmed that one of the vehicles was a lorry but said the incident had now been closed.
